The National party caucus has decided to drown themselves in a puddle of wets.
Simon Bridges‘ bold gamble has failed and now the party is under the pitiless gaze and control of Michelle Boag associates. We all know what happened the last time they did that.
Here comes 2002 all over again.
The good news out of all that is that wets like Nikki Kaye, Chris Bishop and Nicola Willis will all lose their seats along with a whole swag of other idiots.
The other good news should be the end of the cancer of Paula Bennett, though her and Anne Tolley have more than enough scandal coming their way to see the end of them too.
Bishop and Kaye might survive on the list, but one won’t if space is given to another member of the puddle, Amy Adams.
In four months time we will be doing this all over again but with a much reduced caucus.
The first question to Todd Muller should be – Who is your campaign chair going to be?
The second should be – Are you prepared to work with Winston Peters?
The third should be – What is your path to victory?
The fourth should be – Will Todd McClay stop the troll farm pushing fantasies?
