An NZ Herald cartoonist, a nasty, spiteful, leftist, oik at the best of times, recently published a disrespectful cartoon depicting his version of Simpson and his donkey.

The BFD.

He even tweeted some commentary:

If only it were true that Jacinda Ardern had finally cracked the Aussie nut.

The truth is actually going to be somewhat of a let down for Emmerson and other leftists promoting the “Great Leader”.

You see Aussie sources tell me that “ScoMo” Scott Morrison, far from bending to the will of our Prime Minister, who had recently spent time in Australia castigating him instead of addressing the burgeoning COVID-19 pandemic, was all set to tell Ardern to get lost. They laughingly suggest he’d paid Ardern to get up him earlier in the year so he could play to his Aussie audience.

Wiser heads stepped in and the elder statesman of New Zealand, Winston Peters, stepped up and went in to bat for Kiwis. He managed to turn Scott Morrison around on the issue and achieved a result that Ardern was never going to do.

He tumbled onto the issue because he was trying to find out why Kiwis were trapped in Chile. We’ve seen the news reports of them being trapped, and it turned out they were trapped because of some bureaucrats refusing to let some Chileans stuck in Australia, transit to flights to Chile at Auckland airport. Chilean officials were refusing to let our people leave until theirs could transit Auckland.

That matter too was resolved by the actions of Winston Peters and not the Prime Minister.

So, poor old Emmerson, so quick to disparage the ANZAC heroism of John Simpson Kirkpatrick or Kiwi medic Richard Alexander Henderson in order to score a false political point, is left looking like the propagandist for Ardern that he is.
