How is it even possible for countries with the second and fifth-ranked GDPs – countries with space programs and nuclear weapons – to be classed as “developing nations”? It’s surely just a coincidence that crazy rich Asian countries calling themselves “developing” get a free pass from the UN on pollution and carbon dioxide emissions, as well as raking in some of the highest amounts of foreign aid in the world.

Pakistan “only” rank 42nd (out of 188) nations for GDP, but it has a space program and nuclear weapons. Yet Pakistan also holds it hand out for its share of foreign aid from gullible Western nations. It pays us back by playing host to festering Islamic extremism, including harbouring and co-operating with some of the world’s worst terrorists.

President Trump is once again “upsetting the established world order” by calling time on these double-dealing mendicants.

The U.S. military said it has made a final decision to cancel $300 million in aid to Pakistan, accusing Islamabad of not doing enough to root out militants from its border region with Afghanistan […]The Coalition Support Funds — which the Pentagon is now proposing to cut — were part of a broader suspension of aid to Pakistan announced by President Donald Trump at the start of the year.

Like so many deceitful “allies”, Pakistan has played a succession of US presidents for fools.

The Trump administration has claimed Islamabad is granting safe haven to militants who are waging a 17-year-old war in neighboring Afghanistan […] Announcing the initial suspension of funds in January, the president accused Islamabad of rewarding past U.S. aid with “nothing but lies & deceit” […]

He said the other $500 million in Coalition Support Funds was stripped by Congress from Pakistan earlier this year, to bring the total withheld to $800 million.

Naturally, the Swamp is not happy.

Analysts say that the Trump administration’s increasing closeness with Indian Prime Minister Narenda Modi is leaving space for other countries such as China, Russia, Iran and Turkey to gain influence in Pakistan […] Meanwhile Trump has repeatedly railed against Pakistan’s reluctance or inability to crack down on extremists in its border regions, including militants in the Taliban-linked Haqqani network.

It’s a fool’s argument that the US must keep throwing out billions in aid and hoping that hardline Islamists will be nice to them. The US has spent billions trying to influence Pakistan, and the hardline Islamic nation has thumbed its nose at them at every turn. As Trump made clear to the grifters of NATO, America’s patience with two-faced “allies” is wearing thin. Trump is also moving to make good on his promise to pull America out of the endless wars of Bush and Obama.

“The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools,” Trump tweeted at the start of the year. “They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!”

U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley has also accused Pakistan of playing a “double game” on fighting terrorism. Haley said Pakistan would work with the U.S. at times, while at the same time harboring terrorists that attack American troops in Afghanistan.

Pakistan is not the only deceitful, corrupt international body of extremists that Trump has in his sights.

Separately on Friday, the Trump administration announced it would eliminate U.S. funding to the United Nations relief agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) calling it an “irredeemably flawed operation.”
