Reset the clock, folks: yet another hate-crime hoax has been added to the ever-growing list of hate-that-never-happened. Hoax-not-hate seems set to become the fastest-growing industry in President Trump’s booming economy. Which shouldn’t surprise anyone with a rudimentary grasp of economics: the American left’s demand for racism far exceeds supply, so creative leftists are stepping up to meet the shortfall by flooding the market with cheap knock-offs.

A sixth-grade student who last week accused three classmates of forcibly cutting her dreadlocks has admitted she made up the allegations, according to her family and the school principal.

Amari Allen, a 12-year-old African-American girl, had accused three white boys in her grade at Immanuel Christian school, in Springfield, Virginia. She said they held her down on a playground during recess, covered her mouth, called her insulting names and used scissors to cut her hair.

Of course, no-one bothered with such trivialities as waiting for evidence. This is the “MeToo” era, after all: nobody bothers with “facts”, “evidence”, let alone “proof”. “Burden of proof” is just another racist, white male “construct”.

Fairfax police launched an investigation into the incident last week after they were contacted by the girl’s family. Meanwhile, social media erupted in outrage. Commentators made much of Vice President Pence’s wife, Karen Pence, teaching art part time at the private school.

Gosh, what a coincidence.

Which raises the question: how much was this hoax planned? When fake-hate-crime pioneer “Clock Boy” sent the left-media clutching for their pearls, the more the story unravelled, the clearer it became that there was a sinister agenda at work.

Which raises a far more important point: hate-crime hoaxes should be treated as hate crimes in their own right. Specifically, anti-white hate crimes.

After all, it is clear, every time, that the agenda of the hoaxers is to foment racial animosity. Their targets are invariably whites. Consider, for instance, the New York Times’ reporting of both the original allegation (“Black Virginia Girl Says White Classmates Cut Her Dreadlocks”) and its retraction( “Virginia Girl Recants Story of Assault…”). Why are the races of the complainant and alleged offenders highlighted in the one, but carefully expunged from the other, if not to foster anti-white hate?

Meanwhile, America’s most infamous hate-crime hoaxer seems a tad upset at being upstaged. Somehow, “Juicy Smoliere” managed to keep a straight face, as he declared “I haven’t lied about a thing”.
