It says everything you need to know that the American left who have happily embarked on an orgy of de-platforming and violently stamping on any and all opinions they don’t like are shocked and outraged that two open anti-Semites have been barred from Israel.
So, the American left is happy to see Vietnamese-American journalist Andy Ngo savagely beaten by leftist militants, academic Charles Murray besieged by violent protesters, and Milo Yiannopoulos’ and Michael Knowles’ speaking engagements besieged by mobs of vigilantes. But two congresswomen who have repeatedly slurred Jews and promoted the anti-Semitic BDS movement, which openly calls for the destruction of the Jewish state, should apparently be given free rein.

Which begs the question: given that Tlaib and Omar so obviously hate Israel, why would they even want to visit? What possible motive would they have, other than to incite almost certain violence against Israel?

“Outspoken critics of Israel” is like calling Joseph Stalin an “outspoken critic of capitalism”. Omar and Tlaib have continuously spouted the most obscene rhetoric against Jews, including that they have “hypnotized the world”, are not loyal American citizens, and that Jewish money is secretly buying American politicians. Omar tweeted, “May Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel”. Tlaib spoke of the “calming feeling” she gets when thinking about the Holocaust. Tlaib also has deep ties to vile anti-Semites.
Naturally, the increasingly fringe-left Democrat party can’t defend their anti-Semitic weird sisters strongly enough.
Israel’s decision angered Democrat leaders with house speaker Nancy Pelosi calling it “deeply disappointing” while house Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said it was “outrageous”.
Democrat presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren described the ban as a “shameful, unprecedented move” while fellow contender Bernie Sanders said it was a “sign of enormous disrespect to these elected leaders”.

This is all part of a disturbing and increasingly blatant pattern of growing leftist anti-Semitism around the world. The truth is that the Democratic Party has been flirting with, and in some cases openly embracing, anti-Semitism for years. That’s why top members of the Democratic Party continue to kowtow to open anti-Semites like Linda Sarsour and Louis Farrakhan; it’s why the Democrats booed Jerusalem in the 2012 Democratic National Committee platform; it’s why the Obama administration routinely played public relations arm for the Iranian government; it’s why no major Democrat will go on record condemning Tlaib or Ilhan Omar.
